The Itarilia Project

I am standing on top of one of the skytowers. I just had to do it, even if it took a lot of bribery, hacking and other not so legal advancements to get up here.

I had so see the city from up here, even if I only get to experience it this once. Down in the slums where I come from, you can't experience this.. this freedom that you get from standing up here.

I had to see the lights from up here, before the they all disappear, before they commence the great blackout.

Blackout is a cyberpunk Larp, where you the player will portray a character that somehow, some way have been confined to Slum 41 in the big city of Heaton O.C 2.

We are striving towards creating a larp with heavy focus on the plot and an interactive world. We are working hard to create a living and aesthetic world that make you feel like you are in a dark and dystopian future.

Blackout-Larp is a hobby project created by two guys. There is no guarantee that there will be a follow up scenario. That depends a lot on how successful this larp gets and the following motivation. With that said, who knows, maybe it will be go on for years.. No promises.

Cyberpunk! & Fantasy

Our genre is Cyberpunk and Fantasy

Cyberpunk is a sup-genre of science fiction, that revolves around a dystopian future where technology and corporate oppression is important factors.

And Fantasy, the classic lord of the rings type of story with strange creatures and races.

The tabletop game Shadowrun have already done this. So with great inspiration, we want to take this to the Larp scene. With our own world and story that our players can explore and have fun in.

A live action role-playing game (LARP) is a form of role-playing game where the participants physically portray their characters. The players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world while interacting with each other in character. The outcome of player actions may be mediated by game rules or determined by consensus among players. Event arrangers called game masters decide the setting and rules to be used and facilitate play.
